Same Reason - Different Journey

Health journeys look different for everyone because we are all uniquely focused on what matters most to us. What isn’t unique is stress. We all have it at some time or another. When we are stressed we often feel like we have very little control over the world around us. Remember that one of the biggest things we do have control over is what we eat. It is imperative that we eat food that gives us energy and allows us the nutrients to set us up for making sound decisions and supporting our busy lives.

So no matter what your health journey is focused on, even those seeking to keep their financial health in check can benefit from ensuring they are eating healthy energy-giving foods. This is a major reason that we talk about holistic health because so many facets of our lives are intertwined. If you have anything causing you stress, maybe a messy car or a few pounds to lose, it can affect another area of your life.

Everyone has at least some reaction to stress which manifests biologically, mentally/emotionally, etc. There are so many ailments that can arise from being under stress such as unpredictable gastric emptying time, depression and anxiety, increased inflammation, increased blood cholesterol and insulin resistance just to name a few.
